I made the layout with the background boxes and wrote the material, which consisted of some of the interview that would feature on the actual program. Though after looking at the purple colour of the font i thought it didn't really go well with the overall website and the genre of my channel, or even fit into the preferences of my target audience.
I then changed the colour to a dusty blue which fits well with the grey tones featured throughout the website, though it doesn't blend into the background, still standing out so you can read it.
I then added the photos onto the gallery section of the page, tilting and rotating them slightly to add a bit more depth and detail to the page.
I had an idea to add a polaroid effect to the gallery page, i think this makes the page look quirky and different to usual photo's on a website. Originally i wanted to do a rollover effect that when you hover over the picture, it comes up large on the screen. Though this idea and the scattered polaroid effect fell through when i came to develop it on the web creator Dreamweaver. The idea was too complicated for me to do and would take a lot of time.
Because of the problems on Dreamweaver i had to change the position of the pictured, but i didn't want to have them sit just plainly on the page so i thought i'd put then in a scroll box which would be a lo easier to do and would allow the pictures to be quite big so you can see them better.
I think that in the end, the result is better than my original idea, as the program is called "Photobooth", this actually now looks like a reel from a photobooth. So in fact i'm happier with this progression than i would have been with my original idea.
